Ben is an Athlete and Adventurer. In 2019 Whilst serving in the British Army, he was seriously injured in a traumatic incident where he was shot numerous times and received blast/fragmentation injuries to both arms and his upper torso, without a doubt the body armour he was wearing saved his life. Shortly after the incident Ben was diagnosed with PTSD.
With a passion for exploring and endurance events, Ben is constantly pursuing elite sports and extreme outdoor expeditions whilst sharing his story to encourage others that although you may have a disability its the ability to go beyond and defy the odds that makes a difference.
Ben is thrilled to be an Ambassador for Positive Adventure and hopes to inspire other veterans to succeed and achieve their goals and ambitions.
